Akamai Zero To Hero ~ Part 1
I have had a fair chance to work on multiple enterprise and industry standard WAFs (web application firewall) & CDNs (content delivery network), most noticeably the two were Cloudflare & Akamai.
That being said there’s nothing to take away from AWS WAF, F5 or Sophos or for that sake any other vendor’s offering. Each has it own set of uses cases, pros and cond. There are n number of WAFs and CDNs out there in the market. It depends entirely on the problem statement, use case, best-fit & cost.

In this series I’ll be covering my practical experiences, problem statements encountered and plausible solutions while explaining all the concepts from scratch.
